A travesty- Stevie Y should step down from the Olympics and concentrate on keeping the Bolts together, I can't think of a more distructive move than screwing with the teams heart and soul.

@LightningShout and I had a discussion about this. If the team is in the playoff race it shouldn't be too bad, but if things take a turn south this could get awkward. LS speculates that, either way, Steve Yzerman has lost a huge front office asset.

yeah not including your Captain and a guy who easily should be on this team, is an easy way to make things real awkward. This move pisses me off.

both decisions were stupid as hell. Hedman is easily the 2nd best D-man on Sweded behind Karlsson. You can argue Kronwall and OEL but Tallinder over Hedman? what in the actual f@ck?!

I feel bad for Marty as this was probably his last shot at the Olympics. Hedman has many years left so he should have plenty of future opportunities
